HIPAA Compliance with Parrot Software and Services

Ensuring that our customers' data is safe, secure, and accessible when they need it is one of our top priorities. For customers who are subject to the requirements of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), Parrot can support HIPAA compliance.

Parrot customers who are subject to HIPAA (e.g. covered entities, business associates) and wish to use Parrot’s Software or Services with PHI must sign a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with Parrot.

Some Parrot Enterprise or Business Customers may have already or will execute a service agreement or other document with Parrot that incorporates the relevant terms of a BAA and will not need to sign this separate BAA. Please contact us at legal@parrot.us if you have questions about your organization’s status.

Parrot customers are fully responsible for determining if they are required to sign a BAA.

An individual with the authority to accept a BAA on behalf of the individual or entity you work for or represent (such as your employer) must review and accept the BAA before using Parrot’s Software or Services with PHI. Parrot customers who have not signed a BAA with Parrot must not use Parrot services in connection with PHI.

Only individuals with the authority to accept a BAA on behalf of the individual or entity you work for or represent (such as your employer) can sign a BAA.

How to Review and Accept Parrot’s Business Associate Agreement

Authorized individuals should fill out the form below and someone from Parrot will be in contact with you shortly to coordinate review and acceptance of the BAA.
